Van Lingen is a fashion brand based between London and Dubai. Our aim is to create statement garments with an emphasis on quality, craftsmanship and considered construction. Each collection is built around a distinct concept, using clothing as a means of storytelling and exploring ideas beyond the garment itself.
Van Lingen is at the beginning of its journey. This is only the start.
The Designer
Rachel Gibson is a 22-year-old South African creative. She was born and raised in Dubai, and has a BA Honors in fashion. Her multidisciplinary work spans fine art, fashion, and accessory design.
Driven by a dark aesthetic and a love for experimentation, Rachel explores tactile garment finishes and rich textures to bring expressive stories to life. While fashion remains her primary medium, complemented by oil painting and sculptural accessories, every creation serves as a canvas for narrative storytelling.
